Modules are classified according to level of difficulty, 100, 200, and 300 level, etc. There are no prerequisites for introductory courses.

Students do not have to be members of CIDOC. Course expectations include: class preparation - reading all materials in advance; attendance and participation in discussions and in-class assignments, accurate, timely completion and submission of course assignments; and adherence to accepted standards in written assignments. Participants will be treated with respect and are expected to act accordingly. Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour in the classroom (making phone calls, checking emails, etc.), is not acceptable. Eating, drinking, and using tobacco are not permitted during class times or within the Museum building at any time.

Students will have the opportunity to provide evaluation of both the tuition and the support material at the end of each module, helping us to improve the Summer School from year to year.
