She has taught French in Geneva&rsquo;s colleges for\u00a0 35 years. Isabelle has published a comparative study of\u00a0 Claude Simon and Roberto Drummond, and is the translator of two of the latter&rsquo;s novels. She speaks French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and English. Literature has been her constant passion since the age of 7.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1135\" src=\"http:\/\/www.open-world.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/kim-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"kim\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><a id=\"KCROFTS\"><\/a>Kim Crofts<\/h3>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">A graduate of the University of Qu\u00e9bec, Montr\u00e9al in Theatre Studies, Kim Crofts has produced several opera productions with her company <em>Opera Outside the Box<\/em>, whose mission is to demystify the lyrical art. Since 2016 and in parallel to her work as a director and producer, she has assisted Peter Batakliev, professor and artistic director of L&rsquo;\u00c9cole Sup\u00e9rieure de th\u00e9\u00e2tre in Montreal, in his research, acting and working on productions (<em>Love and Money<\/em>, <em>Who&rsquo;s there<\/em>). On several occasions, she has worked on productions by Swiss director Cyril Kaiser (<em>Le Misanthrope<\/em>, <em>Rousseau, une promenade<\/em> and Chekhov&rsquo;s <em>The Bear<\/em>). In addition, in 2018, she worked with the internationally renowned director Alain Maratrat, and assisted theatre theorist Josette F\u00e9rale in her research between 2014 and 2016.<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" alignleft wp-image-30 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/www.open-world.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/nickcrofts2-e1420529617538-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Nick Crofts\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.open-world.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/nickcrofts2-e1420529617538-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.open-world.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/nickcrofts2-e1420529617538.jpg 226w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><a id=\"NCROFTS\"><\/a>Nicholas Crofts<\/h3>\n<p>Born in London UK, Nick moved to Geneva in 1986 and speaks both English and French. He holds university degrees in Philosophy and Art History, and a doctorate in cultural heritage information management. He worked for six years as head of documentation for Geneva\u2019s Mus\u00e9es d\u2019art et d\u2019histoire. He teaches regularly and is an adjunct professor for the Museum of Texas Tech University.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-82 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/www.open-world.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Marc-e1420546707135-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Marc\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.open-world.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Marc-e1420546707135-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.open-world.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Marc-e1420546707135-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.open-world.ch\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Marc-e1420546707135.jpg 383w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><a id=\"MCROFTS\"><\/a>Marc Crofts<\/h3>\n<p>A <span id=\"result_box\" lang=\"en\">humanities graduate (Ancient Greek, <span class=\"hps\">French<\/span>, philosophy and <span class=\"hps\">theatre)<\/span>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marccrofts.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marc<\/a> <span class=\"hps\">is also<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">a violinist, and holds a masters degree in<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">jazz<\/span> from<span class=\"hps\"> the<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Lausanne School of Music<\/span>. <span class=\"hps\">On stage<\/span>, he plays <span class=\"hps\">in different styles and<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">groups &#8211; <\/span><span class=\"hps\">rock,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">funk,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"hps\">blues,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">tango<\/span>, salsa, <span class=\"hps\">Balkan<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">music<\/span>, classical music, and of course, jazz! <span class=\"hps\">In Geneva,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">he performs regularly<\/span>, notably <span class=\"hps\">with\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"hps\">Gypson<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">5ive,<\/span> <span class=\"hps\">Gilgul and the Marc Crofts Trio<\/span>.
